Singing and Sal and Pickles...OH My!

I wanted to donate a whole entry to Sal.

Sal is a gentleman who was singing Karoke at Yosemite Sams in Memphis last Saturday night. Karaoke is one of my favorite ways to spend an evening. There is no end of entertainment when slightly inebriated patrons of a bar decide they have developed great vocal skills with each swig of Jager. They really pour their hearts into it too. I have to admit, I don't need to drink to make a fool of myself though and I got the impression that Sal was of my sort. He was really feelin' it, as you can sort of see from the picture.

The crazy thing about Sal is that somehow, each time he belted out a ditty it sounded as if he had some type of crazy echoing effect on his voice. You couldnt understand a word he said but the effect on his vocal was mezermizing. We are still trying to figure it out. It wasnt the mike...believe me, I used it. Somehow, it's just something he could do. Wow. Bravo, Sal. Bravo.

In conclusion, I'd like to add a link to one of the most hysterical things I've seen in a while. THIS, my friends, is why we are all guilty of enjoying reality tv at one time or another. Without reality tv and it's blatant desire to humiliate, we could never have the pleasure of the following:

( I can't help but think Maury will have to follow this one up. Perhaps the girl will be wanting to address her problem and have a good heart to heart with the Vlasic Stork. )
