This picture makes me giggle. Not only does it remind me EERILY of my friend Brooke, when she was this age, but it also brings to mind my five year old who is about to start Kindergarten this Friday. He is quite a little ball of energy and has developed an intensity that sometimes results in violence. It's a shame and we try to stop this behavior but it does seem to be inherent. I can't say I expect to be called by the teacher with news of fighting but let's just say, I won't be surprised if there are 'issues'.
I'm taking a deep breath and hoping that his brother being at the same school (in 4th grade) will keep him somewhat calm. :)

many adventures lay ahead, I'm sure. :)
Sweet, that's very exciting for yall.. And that's hilarious! My parents have this picture framed in their house because they say the same thing, that it is me...the face, the tomboyishness, the fact that she's just been in a fight, the whole thing..kinda crazy. :)
This picture has always reminded me of Brooke too. It looks exactly like her as a little girl.
I can't believe our boys are so big :( Colton missed the cutoff by 8 days, so I get to keep him one more year. How is Nathan liking it so far?
He loved it! He still has a hard time w/ his letters and he doesnt know numbers when he sees them written...he is a slower learner than Johnson. But he loves the organization of it and the kids...he missed the meeting last night; he was sick w/ 101 temp (I think it's a sinus infection) and he still refused to miss school today. He wasnt running fever anymore, so I let him. Funny how much he loves going...
