So I know some of you guys gotta be watching 'Lost' on Wednesday nights.
What do you think of the last couple of episodes? Last week, I was thrilled w/ the way the show picked up in the last 20 minutes and the revelations we were blessed with concerning the connection between Locke's father and Sawyer's nemesis. Incredible.
But last night I was SO thrown for a loop on several occasions! Does Richard not age? Are he and the other Others in some wierd 'island' time warp? Why was Jacob invisible and when we did see him for a brief moment, did he not look remarkably like Robert Englund? Who IS this Jacob guy anyway? Is Locke dead? Sweet lord, Noooooooo! And Ben, he's way more evil than I thought. Did anybody else catch that he stole a 'sample' from Kate just in case she might be pregnant? And we thought she and Sawyer were just being sneaky in that cage...heh heh.
I have to admit I've been fed up w/ this show's lack of progression for a while now but the last few shows were really back on track. And now we're in for a 'showdown' between the islanders and the survivors, which looks cool. But I just wonder when we're REALLY gonna learn something about the Dharma Initiative and what it's become since Ben took over. And now I'm all into finding out who this Jacob guy is and why Richard apparently remains eternally pretty.
For those of you not into this show...forgive my geekiness. :)

I'm a little concerned that LOST is heading down the Twin Peaks path of being far too metaphysical and spiritistic, but I'm holding out for the season finale to see how it plays out because that looks exciting.
They are only going to do three more years, of 16 episodes each, so they are going to have to start leading towards an ending.
All in all, I'm into it. I just find myself being more excited about HEROES more very week, but LOSt can still surprise me in a good way.
Actually, the producers have said several times that there is no spiritual or supernatural explanations coming from Lost, which is one of the reason I keep watching. They claim that everything has a solid foundation and even the hallucinations and 'miracles' are caused by 'scientific' factors that can be attributed to the magnetic pull of the island. So, it will be interesting to see how they accomplish all that.
so, did anyone see the latest episode of the "exorcist" or lost sorry, after the last episode i have trouble distinguishing them lol
and yeah, they do say it isn't spiritual...but i'm kinda concerned as to what they are gonna blame some of this stuff on. lol its gonna be interesting.
even if it turns out to be spiritual, i'm all for just not telling anybody that i watch it lol
too good of a show to quit halfway through.
and turborip, if you come into possesion of the "hero" dvd's, please let me know!!
i wanna see it so bad!!!
Well, you did see him for a split second there so he really IS invisible. If you go to 'lostpedia' and some of the other 'info' sites, there seems to be more of a leaning towards time displacement than supernatural stuff...something to do , again, w/ the magnetism of the island etc.
SWEET!
I am into the show. I am sure for the long haul. As of late it has been annoying me but I'm glad that they are concluding it instead of draining it for all it's worth.
Ashely! You caught so much more than I did! I didn't see Jacob! CRAP!
I don't watch Heroes. Though I would watch more if my sorry sister had bought the big tv like she had said she would instead of a new Ipod. WHATEVER! :)
J/k - I would have done the same. Everyone needs an Ipod.
yeah, Tina. When Locke heard Jacob speak and then all those images flashed , it showed a man sitting in the rocking chair for just the briefest moment. You couldnt see him clearly...if you go on youtube, you'll see it though. I didnt see it myself the first time but somebody put the scene on Youtube and I slowed it down.
I have to admit, the Locke-Sawyer connection really got me hooked on the show again. I just loved the way that turned out (not that I approve of the killing...heh heh)because, as the producers have said, every one of the flight 815 survivors have some type of connection.
It's dang addictive is what it is! We all want to stop watching it(but not really), but we have to find out what happens. I sure didn't see Jacob either but you're the second person who's said that he was there! I need to check that out. Glad to know you too are a LOST fan! Yee haw!
ps. Tina, now I have an iPod(addictive sweetness!) AND we have a bigger tv. Sweet! (thanks to Lil' Poo)We'll actually be able to see LOST when we watch it on our tv!!
My husband says that he thinks the island is actually 'Mepos' and that Jacob will turn out to be Balqui Bartokamous...LOL. He then went on to explain all the 'connections' between 'Lost' and 'Perfect Strangers',reasoning that since they are both ABC shows, these are strictly intentional...:)
