So here is number 2. It was a very limited picture so I over-embellished it because I was having fun w/ my sharpie...LOL. Also, my scanner is on the blink so the picture is a bit dark because I had to take a digital photo in order to post it.
Five cents worth of silver lining

She's gwaaageous! Looks like Gwen Stefani. I love the bangs. If I had straight hair, I'd have short little bangs.
Nice work!
Thanks Jodi!
Though I don't really focus on likenesses, only using a picture to get the proper proportions etc, she does look a little like the model. The model was Sabina Kelley-heavily tatooed modern pinup. She can be seen at www.switchbladestilettos.com
I love my U-shaped bangs. I went to Memphis two weeks ago and got them done perfectly by a girl who knew her stuff. It's really hard to get them just right. Sabina's are purrrfect.
cool about your bangs, i was just thinking, when i saw this picture, that they would look great on you.
love the drawing! i also like the idea of doing interperetations of heroines.
reminds me of the stories you wrote as a teenager, and how you used to clip faces out of magazines for the characters.
I've always been very envious of your drawing skills. :) I like your ladies. And I thought it looked like Gwen Stefani too when I first saw it. Your blog is so fun. :)
Thank you all! You guys are very motivating. I'm gonna have to get on the ball!
