Back to Vegas...

For years now, my husband and I have been 'hemming and hawing' about whether to make the trip to Vegas for the yearly 'Rockabilly Weekender' held at the Gold Coast (www.vivalasvegas.net). Well, even though we just went to Sin City (stupid name) in October, we have decided to 'post haste' and make the trip again in April. The main reason(s) being that w/ the advent of the new baby, we may not make it again any time soon and also that we really didnt need that much of a reason to blow our tax refund anyway. I mean, who needs an excuse to enjoy three full days of phenomenal bands, gorgeous cars, jive classes, sock hops, shopping fabulous vendors, playing dress-up, and hanging out in Vegas? Plus, I hear they have this 'chocolate massage' at the Orleans hotel. Mmmmmm.

And so it is settled. I made our reservations this morning for airfare and hotel and bought the three day event pass also. Now that it is done, I feel very peaceful in my mind.

I'm sure morning sickness in Vegas will feel different...heh heh.

What a gorgeous photo! You looked like you were ripped from the page of a 1950's style magazine! :)

That's awesome! So happy for ya'll. I know you'll have a hoot in Vegas and I think it's a fabulous idea. One day I'll go myself. :) Have fun!! Oh yeah, and hope you're not too sick :( . Poor thing.

That's great. I'm glad y'all are going to get to go somewhere before the little bun arrives. Y'all will have so much fun. Are you having morning sickness yet?

We went on a little trip before Ava was born. We drove up to MN. We love Lake Superior up there, it is so beautiful up by the Canadian border. We went backpacking in the wilderness there before we had kids. That's a little out of the question now.
We would love to go to Vegas sometime. Definatly without the kiddos.
